A concerned resident reported

to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office a transient camp near Valley View Drive with children's toys hanging from the trees.

Deputies received a head-scratcher call from a resident on First Avenue North in Hungry Horse. The person came home, noticed the car door open. A fire extinguisher was found sitting on the seat. The glove box was open but nothing was missing.

A resident of Happy Valley wasn't very after an airplane flew so close overhead that it clipped some trees and nearly hit the house.

Two boys in a dark-colored Toyota or Nissan with white rims were accused of a drive-by shooting at some irrigation pipe on Church Drive. The pipes apparently escaped unwounded.
