Kalispell police officers

stopped a leaf-blowing operation that started at 3:54 a.m. at the Scoreboard Pub. Neighbors complained of a rude awakening.

Two men used baseball bats to try and get the bouncer to unlock the doors at Fatt Boys just after 1 a.m. Wednesday. Instead, they were let into the county jail after cars also were found damaged in the parking lot.

A hit-and-run was reported Tuesday evening by a motorist at East Oregon and Fourth Avenue East North. A driver in a silver-gray Pontiac Grand Am rear-ended the motorist and took off.
