The public will find out Monday whether Kalispell's residents want build a community center.
At 4 p.m. at City Hall, a consultant will unveil the results of a phone survey of about 500 people to a community center advisory committee.
Those results likely will be presented to the Kalispell City Council during its meeting at 7 p.m. Monday.
Both meetings are public.
The purpose of the phone survey was to find out whether enough interest existed to justify building a community center - plus determining what activities should be housed there and how it should be financed.
If the project gets a green light, the advisory committee will begin looking for a site, designing the center and planning how to set up programs.
"This is a great opportunity to people to get involved in the planning process," said Mike Baker, Kalispell Parks and Recreation director.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, the department will hold a public workshop about developing a master plan for Kalispell parks.
