A dozen people were arrested Tuesday for allegedly being illegal aliens from Mexico.
Whitefish police, the Northwest Drug Task Force, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement served two arrest warrants at an apartment complex in Whitefish, according to information from Mike Ferda, assistant police chief.
In serving the two warrants, police said they found 12 people who admitted being in the country illegally and working construction in Whitefish.
They reportedly are employed by Washington-based Storm Construction, which is building the Monterra subdivision.
This is the second group of suspected illegal aliens to be arrested in Whitefish while employed by the company, Ferda said.
