responded to a report of attempted burglary Monday on Belmar Drive, where a resident found someone had attempted to break through the door. It turned out that the resident's 13-year-old son caused the damage.

Another resident had an embarrassing day at the Department of Motor Vehicles. The boat he attempted to register came up stolen out of Arizona, and officers were called, but it was just a computer glitch.

A woman called dispatchers from the old post office when she discovered she locked her keys in her car along with her 8-month-old child.

A contractor reported several items stolen from a construction trailer on Third Avenue East North.

Officers arrested a woman on a warrant from the Samaritan House just before 8 a.m. Monday.

Officers ordered some people involved in suspicious activity Sunday evening at the Woodland Park restrooms to stay away after hours.

A resident on Granite View Drive apparently was surprised to find a terrible smell coming out of the sewer. A cracked lid was diagnosed as the culprit.
