William J. Daniel 'Dan' Haller Jr., 25
William J. Daniel "Dan" Haller Jr., was born June 20, 1980, to William and Robyn Haller in Yakima, Wash.
He was killed April 29, 2006, in a traffic accident. Dan graduated from Flathead High School in 2000. He then continued his education to get his basic emergency-medical-technician certification. He was employed at Costco, where he was well loved and appreciated by all of his co-workers.
He met Candice Fraley, his fiancee, in the summer of 2003. He was a proud dedicated father of their 4-month old baby girl, Paishance Azalee Haller.
Dan was a charismatic, outgoing, opinionated young man with a passion for life. Dan was happiest when he was hunting or fishing in the woods with family or close friends. Other things Dan enjoyed doing were riding his motorcycle, camping, hiking, mountain biking, weight lifting, and many other things.
One of Dan's main priorities was providing for his family and remodeling their home.
Dan is survived by his parents, William and Robyn Haller; his brothers, James Haller, Michael Haller and Rhys Payne; fiancee, Candice Fraley; daughter, Paishance Haller; grandparents, Betty Eslick, and Earl and Saundra Snyder; great-grandparents, Mildred Haller and Irene Taylor; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins; and friends, Steve and Crystal Willson, and Travis Parker. Dan was loved by numerous friends, too many to mention.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the Assembly of God Church in Columbia Falls. Pastor Darrell Newby will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Dan's daughter, Paishance. Donations may be made at the First Interstate Bank, Evergreen Office, 100 E. Cottonwood Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901.
