A woman on Forest Hill Road

told the Flathead County Sheriff's Office that someone took her car for a joy ride Monday night. When she found the vehicle in the morning it was on her lawn, butted up against another vehicle, and it wouldn't start.

The only explanation for a 911 hang-up call from a Coram home is that the dog did it. When a dispatcher called the home, it was learned that a grandfather had been asleep for three hours and his two grandsons had just returned from a baseball game. "Grandpa" called the dispatcher and said "maybe the dog sat on the phone" and punched in 911.
