Spring fever may have been the malady

behind stolen and vandalized vehicles, one apparent "joy ride" and a number of dogs with wanderlust.

Kalispell police arrested a 15-year-old boy at a north Kalispell business on suspicion of felony burglary of a motor vehicle. They cited him for tobacco possession, too.

On Second Avenue East, a man was arrested on suspicion of vandalizing vehicles, and a flatbed trailer was stolen on West Center Street.

Two guns were missing at a Fifth Avenue West home after a guest left town.

A 3-year-old deliberately broke an apartment window on Liberty Street. The youth and mother were counseled.

On the canine watch, a wayward sheltie was picked up on Appleway Drive and got a free ride to the county animal shelter. A German shepherd was busted for digging in the trash on Third Street West.
