Flathead County sheriff's deputies
arrested a man, 21, on suspicion of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief Wednesday night at a Parkside Drive residence. Confronted by deputies after he had been kicking at the door of the residence, the man left and later returned, resulting in the arrest. He later threatened suicide at the Flathead County Jail and was put on a special watch.
Teenagers reportedly were throwing items out of the window of a pickup Wednesday on Whitefish Stage Road. At one point, they threw a football at a youngster standing in his yard.
It must have been difficult, but a 23-foot telephone/light pole that had not been installed was stolen from a landing near the water on Bigfork Harbor.
It was either lost cargo or intentional furniture disposal Wednesday night, but somehow a couch ended up in the middle of U.S. 2 near Kila.
There was disharmony on Harmony Road, with a report of youths throwing rocks at each other, causing a neighbor to be concerned about her windows.
A bicycle was reported stolen from a home on the 1900 block of U.S. 2 west of Kalispell.
A person reportedly was hit in the head with a golf ball Thursday at the Whitefish golf course but did not require an ambulance.
