Bozeman rallied from behind twice Saturday to defeat the hosting Kalispell Lakers 8-6 and 5-1 in AA American Legion baseball play.

Kalispell, 3-5 overall, led 5-0 after four innings in the opener and 6-2 after five before Bozeman stormed back.

Matt Comer slammed a 3 RBI double in the sixth, to get Bozeman within a run, and the Bucs added three more runs in the seventh to pull it out.

Flathead committed three errors in the seventh inning.

"It wasn't too bad," said Lakers coach Ryan Malmin of his team's effort in Game 1.

"We competed pretty well; we just didn't execute in that seventh inning."

Kalispell outhit Bozeman 9-7 in that contest as Tyler Reichhoff, Sam Freudenberg and Dan Conners all went 2-for-4.

Bozeman clubbed 14 hits to win the second game. Kalispell led 1-0 after the first inning, but Bozeman tallied two runs in the third and one run in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings.

The Lakers had just three hits in that outing.
