The Flathead County Sheriff's Office

is investigating the death of a 6-month-old girl at the Hideaway Mobile Home Court near Columbia Falls.

A man found the baby under some couch cushions Sunday morning at the home, and someone tried to revive her with cardiopulmonary resuscitation as an ambulance was summoned..

Sheriff's deputies declined to identify the victim but said the family has been questioned with the investigation to continue today.
