The Flathead County Sheriff's Office
had its own animal problems. On Days Acre Lane, three geese and two ducks had their gooses cooked by an unknown source. A black bear was reported on Lupfer Road.
On Stoner Creek, someone stole jumper cables, two fishing poles and tools, and emptied cat litter into the cab of a truck. A paddle boat was stolen on Solberg Drive. A son and a vehicle were both missing from a home; the vehicle was found at Lybeck Dike in the vicinity of fleeing youths.
A chain saw and gas cans are missing from Rogers Lake Road.
Three youths reportedly threw small rocks at a boy who had fallen at Helena Flats School. An officer talked to parents about a child who called 911 for fun.
On Whalebone Drive, a resident complained about neighbors yelling profanities at her and calling children names.
Two youths reportedly jumped a fence at Alpine Storage and climbed a tree to get onto a building. They were gone when a deputy arrived.
An officer talked to other youths after a complaint about trespassing on North Juniper Bay Road. They were told they can't ride dirt bikes on county roads. A trespassing delivery person on Columbia Falls Stage Road was suspected of entering a building without permission.
A parent was concerned about a van that followed a girl on East Evergreen Drive.
The tennis bubble was cut at Kalispell Athletic Club. Someone pushed large rocks on the bike path on Whitefish Stage Road.
A package was relieved of its contents in a mailbox, but the packaging was left behind.
