Matthew Paul 'Matt' Scotten, 49

Matthew Paul "Matt" Scotten, 49, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2006, at his home in Whitefish, surrounded by his family and friends.

Matt was born March 16, 1957, in Billings to Rose Marie and George Francis Scotten Jr. Matt received early education in Great Falls and attended high school in Whitefish. He attended the University of Montana for one year.

He worked at the Columbia Falls Aluminum plant for 25 years before he opened his office of Video Data Services in Whitefish.

Matt's favorite recreation was golf.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Scotten Jr., in 1987.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, Rosie Horn; brothers, Tim and Dave Scotten; and daughters, Katie and Jessica Scotten; and his fiancee, Diane Stenger.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. May 30, at the United Methodist Church in Whitefish.

Memorials may be made to Kalispell Hospice.
