Mary B. Krabill, 85

Mary B. Krabill, 85, of Shedd, Ore., "was received into glory" on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, from the Mennonite Home after spending seven weeks away from home.

She was born in Albany, Ore., the daughter of Amos and Lydia (Boshart) Gerig.

Mary married David Krabill on May 16, 1943, in Albany.

They were married 63 years.

Mary enjoyed sewing for her family, doing many different craft projects and often teaching them to grandchildren.

She enjoyed traveling, flowers and watching birds in her later years.

The family will remember her dedication to the Lord and her sacrificial love for them.

She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her husband, David Krabill, of Shedd; children, Brian Krabill of Shedd, Ron Krabill of Halsey, Ore., Barbara Troyer of Brownsville, Ore., Dennis Krabill of Bigfork, Leonard Krabill of Lebanon, Ore., Arlen Krabill of Brownsville, Richard Krabill of Shedd, and Brenda Gerig of Albany; 49 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Percy Gerig of Lebanon, and Amos Gerig of Scio, Ore.; and sister, Wanda Sanderson of Portland.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at Fairview Mennonite Church in Albany at 3 p.m., today with committal services following at Fairview Mennonite Cemetery.
