Patricia 'Patti' Ann Miller, 40

Patricia "Patti" Ann Miller, 40, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. She was born Feb. 25, 1966, in Helena, to Forest and Joyce (McKellar) Kaufman.

Patti was raised in Helena and later moved to Kalispell, where she graduated from Flathead High School. She went to the University of Montana for one year, working toward being a veterinarian. During that time she met and married Thom Hildebrand. They had one daughter, Kyrie Jones.

After her marriage ended she met and married her second husband, Robert Jones, and they had one son, Logan Jones. During that time she was a clerk for Montana Environmental Lab, LLC of Kalispell, and also worked for a time at Evergreen Disposal. After that marriage ended, she met and married Frank E. Miller on Aug. 30, 2004, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. At that time she became self-employed, owning and operating the First Choice Repair and Sharpening, where she worked until the time of her death.

Patti enjoyed track, basketball, softball, hiking and the outdoors. She loved birds and animals, especially dolphins. She was a spectator of the Miami Dolphins football team. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Debra Kaufman; and her maternal grandmother, Bernice McKellar.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Miller, of Kalispell; daughter, Kyrie Jones, of Kalispell; son, Logan Jones, of Kalispell; one stepdaughter, Felicia Miller, of Kalispell; her mom, Joyce McGinnis, and husband Bob, of Sidney; her dad, Forest Kaufman, and wife Cheryle, of Plains; brother, Doug Ray, and wife Natalie, of Palmer, Alaska; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Patti will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Duane Hull of the Kalispell Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
