Disruptive Youth at Norm's News
Kalispell Police went to Norm's News Tuesday for a report of a youth who was disruptive. He reportedly opened a vial of something vile, causing people to leave the store, and then disappeared in a cloud of stink before officers arrived.
A vehicle window was broken at Burton's.
Police had their own problems with youths Tuesday night. Among the reports was a complaint about kids throwing snowballs at vehicles on 10th Street East, arguing sisters on Ninth Avenue West, and three girls with alcohol at a business on U.S. 93. After a traffic stop on East Washington Street, seven teens were arrested for violations that included possession of alcohol, drug paraphernalia and tobacco, obstructing an officer, driving under the influence of alcohol, and curfew violation.
Someone reported loaning his vehicle to a friend for a few minutes that stretched into hours before he called police.
A man apparently didn't get the message when an officer told him to stop calling a woman. A restraining order could follow.
A stereo was damaged in a vehicle outside of Qdoba.
A woman turned herself in on a felony warrant.
Two reports of sexual assault are under investigation.
A woman reported being solicited for prostitution.
An ATM card was Apparently Taken or Missing from a man's wallet on Ninth Avenue West. Checks were stolen on West Center Street.
Employee theft is suspected at a business.
No one was hurt on East Idaho Street when someone called for an ambulance because it looked like a child had been hit by a vehicle. The drama generators were sent back to a motel where they were staying. An ambulance was also called for a man found on the floor at the post office, but he was only sleeping there.
