Did the thieves hock the lock?

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a report about overachieving thieves who broke into a construction site on South Silvertip; they even took the lock.

A man on Gopher Lane said his ex-girlfriend ran over him and made an unloving gesture after they argued. A woman Thursday wanted to report that her boyfriend assaulted her Sept. 17 on Whitefish Hills Loop.

The woman who is not supposed to be at a home on U.S. 2 left after a resident called authorities. A woman caused a disturbance on South Cedar Drive before leaving. An unwanted man on Alberta Street got a ride in a patrol car to a motel. A man who is wanted was reported on Batavia Lane; the trouble is he is wanted on a warrant from California.

Threats were reported on Newsome Lane. A woman was arrested for partner assault on Twin Acres Drive.

$200 is missing from a home on Caroline Road.

From Pickwick Court came a request for law enforcement to intervene in a mother and daughter's dispute about clothing. On Capistrano Drive, a resident reported a couple of people hanging around for the past few days, sometimes parking in the middle of the road and possibly sleeping in a neighbor's barn.

A woman was arrested after a report that she was forging checks at a store.

A resident on Klondike Loop asked an officer to check the crawl space of a home after he discovered the door was open. Footprints were discovered around a house on Lake Blaine Drive.

A landlord said if his tenant doesn't remove her horses from his pasture, he's going to turn them loose. A truck pulling a horse trailer jackknifed on Bald Rock Drive when the driver tried to avoid a deer.

It was literally a hit-and-run accident on East Evergreen Drive when a driver reportedly fled on foot after rear-ending a vehicle. No one was hurt.
