A cabin was found burned down Saturday afternoon on Hubbart Dam Road,the Flathead County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies responded Saturday evening to a prank 911 call that falsely claimed a suicidal man with guns was at a Four Wheel Drive home, whose owners were out of town.

An assault was reported Sunday morning near the Les Schwab store in Evergreen. Additional details were not available Sunday.

A deer - apparently shot from a vehicle - was found dead Sunday morning in a yard near Columbia Falls.

A cell phone was stolen Sunday in Somers.
