Carl Lundstrom, 79, of Libby, died of natural causes at home in Libby on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006. Carl was born in Dodson on Sept. 10, 1927, to Emil and Ruth (Holzheimer) Lundstrom.

Carl lived his entire life in Montana and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping and hunting, sports events (especially those that involved his children or grandchildren), and family events.

Carl is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy Lundstrom, of Libby; and his twin sister, Inez, and Norman Hanson, of Libby. Carl is also survived by daughter, Linda Lundstrom, of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Art, and Mary Lundstrom, of Malta; son, Dan, and Lori Lundstrom, of Malta; daughter, Jeanne Lundstrom, of Billings; son, John Graham, of Phoenix; son, Jay and Judy Graham; and son, Jack Graham, of Phoenix; 13 grandchildren; a new great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

The family is not holding a memorial or service, according to Carl's wishes. In honor of his love of mountains and the outdoors, his ashes will be sprinkled in the Cabinet Mountains this summer.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Libby Sports Booster Club.
