Robert William 'Buck' Hensley, 88

Robert William "Buck" Hensley, 88, of Kalispell, passed away in Bozeman after a battle with cancer.

Buck was born March 29, 1918, in Gillette, Wyo., to Robert Earl and Minnie Pearl Hensley. He lived and worked for many years in Casper, Wyo.

An avid gentleman and horseman, his ingenuity was a mainstay of his life. He was involved with the CCCs, was a Golden Glove Boxer and a consummate entrepreneur, building many businesses throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Nadine Fincher, from Lake Blaine; two children, Robert Eugene and Celeste; his sisters, Rosalie Ebersole and Wilma Ida "Pat" Lindenberg; and an infant brother, Donald Wayne.

Survivors include his brother, Hershel Wayne "Jack" Hensley, of San Antonio; sister, Lois Jean Landrum, of Garden City, Kan.; sons, William Earl "Bill", Donald Wayne, Vernon Jay, Richard Clyde and James Harley; daughter, Rosalyn Sue; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many relatives and a host of lifetime friends.

At Buck's request, there will be no services.
