A head-on collision on Whitefish Stage Road near the junction with Riverside Drive about 10:30 a.m. blocked traffic from both directions. Kalispell Ambulance was called to the scene, and police redirected traffic along East California and Seventh Avenue EN.
On Monday afternoon, a one-vehicle crash about 15 miles up the North Fork Road sent two women to the hospital. Police scanner reports said the women, ages 74 and 75, were up and walking around after the vehicle entered a ditch steep enough to require a rope and a basket to get them back to the road.
The patrol also investigated a crash on Whitefish Stage near the intersection with West Evergreen Drive, and another in front of Staples on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.
