Kalispell police levied a plethora of charges against two men and a woman

| October 3, 2006 1:00 AM

just after closing time Sunday night. A traffic stop turned into charges of DUI No. 3/habitual offender, no insurance and open container violation for the man driving the vehicle. A woman was charged on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, obstructing an officer and a warrant arrest. The other man in the vehicle was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and an open container violation.

He followed her home from the bar, she told police, and she could hear him outside the door picking at the lock. He was gone when police arrived on Two Mile Drive.

An alert mom spotted man in the driver's seat of an recreational vehicle parked in the Kalispell Junior High bus loop watching girls going into the school for early morning volleyball practice. She didn't like it, so asked her daughter to have the coach call police.

Yelling obscenities from a bench in front of Sykes' restaurant simply will not be tolerated, a woman discovered Sunday evening.

A 19-year-old man who had just been arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license got in more hot water when somebody reported a dog bite. The suspect dog turned up with him in a vehicle.

Another dog owner on Garland Street was not receptive to an officer's advice on getting his pooch to quit barking Sunday night.
