Christopher Wagner 'C.W.' Miller, 21
C.W. (Christopher Wagner) Miller left this world on Sept. 23, 2006, in a fatal car accident. He was born in Minneapolis on Feb. 2, 1985, to Steve and Suzie Miller.
He grew up in Minnesota, attending Excelsior Elementary School through the fifth grade where he excelled in school and in all sports. During this period in Minnesota he was a national karate champion and a national BMX champion, traveling around the nation with his family and team.
He moved with his family to Bigfork in 1996 where he attended Bigfork Middle School and then transferred to Polson High School his sophomore year, graduating in 2003.
C.W. spent the last 10 summers crewing with his brother Nick on his father's commercial fishing vessel in Kodiak, Alaska. He traveled to Amsterdam after graduation with his father, the Dominican Republic, and many times to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands with his family and friends. He and his brother had recently obtained their scuba diver's certifications in Cayman Brac.
C.W. loved life! He loved scuba diving, swimming, playing poker and bridge and folfing with his buds.
He was always joyous, loving, compassionate, kind, giving, hard-working and fun-loving throughout his 21 years. He brought so much joy and laughter into the world and will be sorely missed by everyone.
C.W. was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff and Marge Wagner, and Rowley and Susan Miller.
C.W. is survived by his father and mother - Steve and Suzie Miller, and brother Nick Miller, all of Bigfork, and his extended family and friends.
A gathering of family, friends and all who knew C.W. will be held at the Miller home located at 18649 E. Lakeshore, Bigfork, on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Memorials in C.W.'s memory may be made to the Cayman Brac branch of the Humane Society, Box 207 KY2-2101, Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands.
