Full moon strikes again
Full-moon behavior struck Thursday night when people wanted to lodge complaints with the Flathead County Sheriff's Office.
Among them was a report of a man on Mountain View Drive who was enraged because he believed a roommate ate his food. On Blanchard Hollow Road, a man reported his wife was breaking things and cutting up pictures. A man led officers on a chase to the Rainbow Bar where he was caught and arrested for his fourth DUI.
A friend of a woman asked officers to check on her welfare. She was sitting by the river, watching the moon at about 3:30 a.m., and was fine.
A man said that someone who found his missing golf cart is calling and demanding a reward for it.
On North Meridian Road, a man was taken to the hospital with facial injuries from a potato launcher.
There was a report of a little girl screaming and a man growling behind East Cottonwood Thursday afternoon. It turned out to be a father and son, happily swimming.
Loose mules were reported on Wildebeest Lane.
A dismantled rifle was found on Rogers Lake Road.
On Kelley Road, someone shot fireworks at pets.
Someone reported being followed and threatened, but a deputy found no such thing was happening. Harassing calls were reported in Hungry Horse.
A fight that was reportedly brewing on Twin Acres Drive never percolated into anything substantial. Participants in a domestic disagreement separated for a while on Eastman Drive.
There were many reports of bad drivers. One resulted in some fist shaking on Farm to Market Road.
There was another report of someone taking pictures of students at rural schools.
Someone suspected gunfire coming from a helicopter over the Jewel Basin Friday.
A woman said she had to be forceful to get a man to leave after he appeared at her house on West Reserve Drive and asked for money.
A man went to the hospital from Caroline Road where a saw accident involved a triple-digit reduction.
