William 'Bill' Crouse, 63

William "Bill" Crouse, 63, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, in Polson.

Bill was born April 8, 1943, in Kalispell to William F. and Ruth (Charleton) Crouse.

He attended schools in Kalispell before his parents moved to Michigan. He spent five years there, coming back to graduate from Flathead High School

Bill worked at the Columbia Falls Aluminum Plant in the chemical lab. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was sent to Vietnam, where he was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal. After his honorable discharge, Bill attended Flathead Valley Community College to learn about computers. He loved theater and taught drama at the college. He was a member of the Teamsters union and loved to tinker with electronics.

Bill is survived by his brother, Fred Crouse; a sister, Niki Crouse; and a daughter, Reiko Hodgdon.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, with military honors provided by the United Veterans of the Flathead.
