Kalispell police arrested a woman on suspicion of DUI on Saturday, but her trouble intensified with another charge of assaulting a police officer. Kalispell police Chief Frank Garner said Laura Miller, 38, kicked an officer in the head and scratched him with bloody hands.

Officers took reports about sleepless intruders at homes in the middle of the night. On Second Street East, a resident discovered a couple who appeared to have been drinking outside at about 3:30 a.m. The female half was arrested for disorderly conduct. At about 4:40 a.m., a resident on First Avenue West asked for help with a man who wouldn't go away.

A pumpkin was smashed out of its gourd at Smith's, where a man fled after squashing the merchandise.

A man tried to sell someone an unpackaged DVD player in the parking lot at McDonald's.

On Sunday, someone drove a vehicle into the Days Inn.

Officers are looking for a woman who didn't show up for work Monday. Her co-workers are worried about her.

A naked woman was reported in the guest restroom at Four Seasons. She was gone by the time an officer arrived, but a strong odor remained.

A burglary was reported on Merganser Drive.

A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle on 10th Avenue West.
