A man who was arrested Sunday on a felony DUI charge died in the county jail, prompting an investigation.
The man's identity wasn't released Monday.
Flathead County Sheriff's Office patrol Cmdr. Pete Wingert said the Kalispell Police Department will conduct the investigation. A coroner's inquest will be conducted by someone from outside of Flathead County.
Kalispell police Chief Frank Garner said there's nothing that suggests foul play about the 65-year-old man's death. He was found Monday morning when jail employees brought him breakfast.
Officials said the man had refused to take a test to determine his blood-alcohol level when he was arrested.
A Kalispell detective took the man's body Monday to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
