The Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested a 16-year-old boy Sunday afternoon
after a woman called for help from Parliament Drive, saying she was assaulted by a boy in a camouflage jacket and a Mohawk haircut. The boy reportedly pulled a knife, threatened to kill her and punched her in the eye over disagreement about a pit bull. He was charged with felony assault, obstructing an officer for reportedly giving a fictitious name, and underage tobacco possession. Other charges are pending.
A man was taken to the hospital after reportedly being assaulted outside a casino on U.S. 2. He said he has no memory of the assault. His girlfriend found him lying in the parking lot with a gash in his head.
