Kalispell police went to College Avenue on Wednesday when there was a report of a man yelling

and trying to get into a home. Officers discovered it was a dispute over cats. An officer explained that if the cats end up in other people's homes, the cats change ownership.

A report of bank fraud is under investigation.

Perhaps fresh from a bad relationship, someone dropped baggage in some bushes on Ninth Avenue East North.

A man on North Meridian Road was arrested for obstructing an officer, resisting arrest and on a warrant. A man was arrested for DUI on Conrad Drive.

Noise was a night problem at the Scoreboard Bar and on Lenwood Lane.
