A woman called Kalispell police

| September 3, 2006 1:00 AM

A woman called Kalispell police after the driver in front of her swerved all over the road and nearly hit the underpass heading into Kalispell on U.S. 2. Police eventually caught the 51-year-old man and arrested him for DUI, criminal possession of dangerous drugs, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a restriction on his probationary license.

Upset when she nearly hit him as he backed out of a driveway, a man in a red pickup followed and tailgated a woman. She circled the block around the Kalispell Police Department, afraid to get out of her car until she saw an officer.

A woman told police that a man who lives upstairs in her apartment building has slapped her multiple times. He left and agreed to never return.

Someone scrawled rude messages in lipstick on the windows of a car parked during a Friday night football game.

An employee at a Kalispell restaurant reported her purse stolen from work. It contained her driver's license, identification and Social Security cards and more then $400 cash.

Someone has been siphoning gasoline out of used cars at a Kalispell dealership.

Police made two arrests in two separate traffic stops. A 19-year-old man was charged with MIP, and a 38-year-old man was arrested on a warrant from another jurisdiction.
