June Luella Hughes, 85

June Luella Hughes, 85, of Missoula passed away of congestive heart failure at St. Patrick Hospital on Sept. 4, 2006.

She was born Oct. 30, 1920, in Creston, to Henry and Anna Marie Isch.

On Nov. 5, 1955, she married Stuart Hughes in Missoula. She traveled with Stuart throughout his career and assisted him with many forest service functions until they retired in Missoula.

June enjoyed dancing and especially enjoyed socializing with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart; her parents, Henry and Anna Marie; as well as brothers, Harry Isch and Burton Isch; and her first husband, Julian Tripp; and other family members.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Betty Trueblood and Flora May Isch; nieces, Rita McKinney and her children, Nichole and Boone, Stephanie Isch, Lori Isch and Sid and Stacey Koester and twin daughters, Rerese and Regin.

Viewing will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Garden City Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell.

Family suggests memorials be made in June's name to the national foundation for Parkinson's disease.
