The Flathead County Sheriff's Office dispatched firefighters Wednesday to Haskill Basin Road

Officers investigated a report that a vehicle on U.S. 2 contained a passenger holding a gun to the head of a girl who was driving. A deputy stopped the car and found it was a brother and sister and the gun was a toy.

Mail and newspapers were stolen on Foothill Road. Thieves didn't just steal the mail; they stole the mailboxes on East Reserve Drive and Blanchard Lake Road.

A woman was taken to the hospital after she was found passed out on the side of U.S. 2 east of town.

It sounded bad from a report that a vehicle had gone over a bridge on Tetrault Road, but the vehicle had entered the water from below the bridge and wasn't in very deep.

A deputy counseled the people involved in a disturbance on Meadowlark Drive, where a woman said two men and another woman were yelling at her.

A moose cow and calf were poached on Bitterroot Drive.

A woman said she and her sister were assaulted by another woman on Cynthia Drive.

A missing girlfriend near West Glacier was found, fine.

A man turned himself in with a confession that he stole a paint sprayer and pawned it.

On U.S. 2, a woman said her husband wouldn't let her in the house Wednesday morning.

A burglary was reported on U.S. 93 near Whitefish.

A bear was reported on Jensen Road.

On Capistrano Drive, someone let horses out and left the lights on in the barn. No word on whether the barn door was closed. Faucets were turned on and left running on Willow Glen Drive.

There's a suspect in a cat shooting on Concord Lane.

They were evicted and then they made threats against the landlord.

Left at a shrine for a motorcyclist who died near Whitefish were some beer cans and a marijuana pipe.
