Michael 'Mike' Alan Sacherer, 35
"The heavens rejoiced and the Angels sang," on Sept. 7, 2006, when Michael "Mike" Alan Sacherer "went home to be with his Lord arid Savior."
He was born Aug. 22, 1971, in Daly City, Calif., and grew up in the Bay area. Mike moved to Montana in 1996 where he met his wife, Jessie, and they married in 1998.
Mike loved hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling and watching NASCAR. He loved to go fast on anything that made a lot of noise. He had a deep love for his God and his family.
Mike was passionate about his children, they were his world. He had a laugh that was very contagious and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh. He ran his own company and loved what he did. Mike was a big man, with a big heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Christian LeBesque, and Frank and Verna Sacherer; a cousin, David McCortney; and his father-in-law, Buck Lawrence.
He will always be loved by those he left behind, his wife, Jessie; his four adorable children, Zacherie, Dillon, Rylee and Christian; his parents, Bert and Christiann Disbrow, of Bigfork, and Ron Sacherer of San Bruno, Calif.; one brother, Scott Sacherer, of San Francisco; grandparents, Walter and Mary Rossman, of Cupertino, Calif.; an aunt, Lesley McCortney, of Cupertino; mother-in-law, Anita Lawrence, of Roundup; and extensive family and friends.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, with Dr. Halden Curtiss officiating.
A memorial fund has been established for his wife, Jessie, and his children, Rylee and Christian, both 2, Dillon, 4, and Zacherie, 6. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Sacherer Family Memorial Fund, in care of the Crossroads Christian Fellowship, P.O. Box 2078, Bigfork, MT 59911. Thank you for caring.
