Class A's third-ranked Libby Loggers get a last-placed, 0-3 team at home.
The Loggers (1-0, 3-0) have the league's second-best passing attack and fourth-best rushing attack.
Sophomore quarterback Joel Fuller is 16-for-31 with 329 yards and four TDs on the season. Senior QB Kyle Baker is 10-for-23 for 91 yards and no TD passes, but is gradually becoming more of a receiving threat with Fuller taking more snaps under center. Senior wide receiver Steve Bertelsen leads the team in receiving with nine catches for 156 yards and two TDs. Baker has seven catches for 115 yards and two TDs. Senior tight end Richard Brumbaugh has four catches for 97 yards.
Senior fullback Jake Graham leads the Loggers on the ground with 47 carries for 247 yards and a TD. Junior running back Jeremy Chumley has 32 carries for 124 yards and two TDs.
Led by senior running back Tylar Espinosa, Ronan (0-1, 0-3) boasts the league's No. 3 rushing offense. Espinosa is the league's second-best running back with 369 rushing yards and three TDs on a league-high 57 carries. Junior running back Nick Courville has added another 127 rushing yards for the Chiefs.
Whitefish at Eureka, 7 p.m.
Class A's fifth-ranked Bulldogs are looking to spoil Eureka's first Northwestern A game at home.
Led by senior running back Luke Fennelly, Whitefish (1-0, 3-0) is the league's best running offense. Fennelly has 417 yards and four TDs on 53 carries this season. His brother, quarterback Zach, has added 92 yards and two TDs on the ground. The Bulldogs are the league's No. 5 passing team. Zach Fennelly is 17-for-35 for 222 yards and two TDs. Senior wide receiver Danny Neff is the team's leading receiver with five catches for 86 yards and a score.
Eureka (0-0, 1-2) owns the league's fourth-best passing attack, but is last in rushing. Senior quarterback Zach Richter is 23-for-46 for 321 yards and three TDs. Senior wide receiver Isiah Linnell is the league's No. 2 pass catcher. He has 12 receptions for 256 yards and two TDs. Classmate Travis Harrell has five catches for 80 yards and a score.
Columbia Falls at Polson, 7 p.m.
This is the game Columbia Falls (1-0, 2-1) has to win to make a statement in the Northwestern A ranks.
But defending league champ Polson (0-1, 2-1) was picked to win the league again this year and is coming off a gut-wrenching loss on the road to No. 3 Libby.
Polson showcases the league's best passing attack with sophomore quarterback Craig Bagnell completing 38 of 74 passes for 534 yards and two TDs. Senior running back Ted Morigeau is the team's best receiver with eight catches for 178 yards and a TD. Senior Conlin Benson isn't far behind with eight catches for 163 yards and a TD. Senior running back Bryce Picard has 147 rushing yards and three TDs on only 16 carries. Morigeau has added 139 rushing yards and two TDs on only 18 carries.
The Wildcats boast the league's second-best rushing attack, but are the worst passing team in the league. Sophomore Josh Wilson is the league's third-best runner with 363 yards and a league-leading five TDs on 49 carries. Junior quarterback Michael Hader has completed 14 of 31 passes for 160 yards and two TDs. The team's leading receiver is Mackey Nolan, who has four catches for 80 yards.
Corvallis at Bigfork, 7 p.m.
One of these teams will get its first victory of the season in this non-conference matchup.
Bigfork (0-2) is a strong passing team with sophomore quarterback Dustin Haines leading the way. He has completed 31 of 48 passes (65 percent) for 412 yards and two TDs. Junior Justin Goode is Northwestern A's top receiver with 15 catches for 239 yards and one TD. Senior running back Aaron Vogel has 82 rushing yards.
Corvallis (0-3), under first-year coach Russ Hendrickson, is led by QB Cody Cousins.
