Tarr, Uibel Two Bear Marathon winners

Mark Tarr of Columbia Falls and Kaylee Uibel of Kalispell were the men's and women's overall winners of the Two Bear Marathon held Sunday in Whitefish.

Tarr completed the course in 3 hours, 9 minutes and 51 seconds. Uibel was timed in 3:28:36.

Tarr finished second a year ago in 2:57:48.

Masters winners were Arley Sorenson of Kalispell, 3:24:46, and Susan Armstrong of Ogden, Utah, 3:57:51.

Last year's overall winners were James Rucker of Spokane, Wash., 2:47:33, and Elena Zlatnik of Missoula, 3:43:52. There were 115 starters and 100 finishers.

This year there were 86 finishers; 45 women and 41 men.
