“When are you going to turn down the music?”

one neighbor asked Wednesday night to another on Eighth Street West. "When the cops come," was the answer. Kalispell police went over. The volume went down.

On Windward Way, a neighbor's music shook a man's pictures off his wall at 11 p.m.

A woman reported that four men in a car harassed her by driving slowly and tailgating. Another woman said a man followed her on the east side of town. A man later was reported driving down alleys slowly near Second Avenue East.

There is a suspect in the theft and forgery of a check on First Avenue West. The boy reportedly tried unsuccessfully twice to cash it.

A $100 bill found on the sidewalk turned out to belong to a man who had just been interviewed by police. It was returned to him.

It was at about midnight that a man showed up with beer at a woman's home and woke her up by banging on her door. This was not well received. Police instructed her in how to get a restraining order.

A man said he was assaulted and his mother's cell phone was stolen at Sawbuck's. Two men were arrested for theft and disorderly conduct.

A wallet containing a dollar along with a birth certificate, CDs and shoes were stolen on Third Street West.

A white pickup spilled nails at intersections Thursday as it traveled on Sunnyside Drive.
