Mary Irene McKean, 85

Mary Irene McKean, 85, passed away Sept. 25, 2006, at Lakeview Care Center in Bigfork, where she resided for eight years.

Mary was born June 5, 1921, in Butte to George and Lottie Tripp. She married Archie McKean on June 13, 1933, in Ennis. Archie and Mary had three children.

Mary was a homemaker. She loved and enjoyed her family. Her favorite pastime was fishing and camping at Middle Thompson Lake.

One of the loves of her life was 'her flowers.'

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lottie; husband, Archie; daughter, Mary Louise; and sister, Georgia Sinerius.

She is survived by two sons, George and Lee McKean of Middle Thompson Lake, and Jack and Carol McKean of Bozeman; three granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. Mary also is survived by one brother-in-law, Les McKean, of Libby, and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the near future at Middle Thompson Lake.
