A freeloading bear scavenged through the garbage on West Second Street.

It was at about 3 a.m. when someone reported teens squirting ketchup on a sleeping man at a Central Avenue restaurant. It was at about 4:30 when he awoke enough to call police and complain.

Vandalism was reported to vehicles at Grouse Mountain Lodge.
