Gerald Gene 'Jerry' Hart, 68

Gerald Gene "Jerry" Hart, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Brendan House in Kalispell. He was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Alcona, Mich., to Harry W. and Evelyn (Pelton) Hart.

He grew up in the Detroit area.

He was united in marriage to Marion Brooks in 1953 in Alpena, Mich. He and his family relocated to the Flathead Valley in 1977.

Jerry's greatest gift in his life was helping people in any way. He was a very loving soul. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and riding his four-wheeler. He also enjoyed boating and driving his truck. He was a member of ABATE - raising funds for kids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Marion, of Martin City; three daughters, Christine Syme and husband, Guy, of Columbia Falls, Thrisa Hart and companion, Nick Wurtz, of Bigfork, and Ronda Hart of Martin City; and one son, Gerald G. Hart Jr., "Buddy," and wife, Chrisann, of Columbia Falls; 10 grandchildren, Steven, Lenny, Maria, Jessica, Jeannie, Brittani, Whillo, Kyla, Camille and Kyle; four great-grandchildren, Jasper Hart, Seabastian Riebe, Ryan Nolan and Dartanian Hart (due very soon); three brothers and four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Jerry will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Martin City Fire Hall.
