Marjorie Lee Lambrecht Hedges, 70
Marjorie Lee "Margie" Lambrecht Hedges, 70, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Sage Towers in Billings where she had resided for several years. Margie was born March 23, 1937, in Billings, to Adam and Theresa Lambrecht. She later lived in Joliet, Columbus, and graduated from Huntley Project High in Worden.
Upon graduation she worked for Security Bank as a bookkeeper until her marriage in 1958 to Wayne Hedges. Of this union were born four children. She was a wonderful mother and loved teaching her children.
She was interested in current affairs and loved to strike up conversations about any subject. She had a good sense of humor and the kindest of souls. Her highlights in life were her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She was proud of her German ancestry and growing up on a farm. She continued with a strong belief in her Catholic faith throughout the years.
Margie was known for her excellent cooking, housekeeping and skills as a seamstress. One accomplishment that had the whole family in awe was the custom-made drapes she stitched that graced the windows of their house on Wyoming Avenue.

Margie is survived by her four children, Janet Hedges and Michael Gottleib of Helena, Randy and Sandra Hedges of Kalispell, Rick and Angie Hedges of Joliet, and Tim and Cathy Hedges of Kalispell; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her three brothers, Leo Lambrecht of Kinsey, Harold Lambrecht of Billings, Dave Lambrecht of Pompey's Pillar; and one sister, Shirley McJunkin, of Red Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank, Leonard, Donald, and John Lambrecht; and one sister, Dorothy Henson.
A vigil will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, at Smith's Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Monday, April 16, at St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral in Billings. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the charity of choice. Some of Margie's favorites were Rocky Mountain Hospice and St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral.
