Columbia Falls, however, won the boys dual, taking three wins in singles and one in doubles for a 4-3 victory over the Pirates.

Polson's top singles players both came out on top with impressive efforts.

"We looked very strong today," Whitefish boys coach Kathy Cummings said. "Brendan Viscomi (the No. 2 singles) played incredibly well. He's got good foot speed and concentrated on the ball."

Rottenbiller and Viscomi won in straight sets. Mariah Driscoll, the Bulldogs' girls No. 2 singles, also won in straight sets.
