Bulldogs roll over C-Falls in tennis

The Whitefish girls and boys tennis squads remained undefeated on the season Monday, besting Columbia Falls in dual action.
The WHS boys, now 5-0, and WHS girls, now 4-0, both won 7-0. The boys played in Whitefish and the girls in Columbia Falls.
"We played well," said Whitefish boys coach Kathy Cummings.
Brielle Menegazzi, Matt Harris, Ryan Rottenbiller and Ian Hosek all posted victories in singles play for WHS to stay perfect on the season.
"The girls showed a lot of improvement from the first match," said Columbia Falls coach Jerry Smalley. "Sarah (Marcille) in No. 1 singles and Chelsea (Wilson) and Jessica (Ferretti) in No. 1 doubles fought hard in three-set matches."

Polson vs. Corvallis
The Polson girls gained a split, but the Pirates fell twice in boys action Monday in tennis at Corvallis and Hamilton.
Emily Pyles won singles matches for PHS at the Nos. 1-2 slots. Pyles had the lone win in a 6-1 loss to Corvallis.
Polson slipped by Hamilton 4-3 by winning at Nos. 1-2 singles and Nos. 1-3 doubles.
Karsten Erickson had the only win for the PHS boys. That came in No. 2 singles play with Corvallis.
