Donald Lee Tucker, 71

Donald Lee Tucker, 71, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. He was born on April 14, 1936, at Polson, the son of Arther G. and Grace A. (Mosley) Tucker. He was raised and educated in Polson.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1957 and served until 1959. Don worked for several years as a heavy equipment operator on road construction and for many years was the general handyman for Flathead Industries. He married Glenda Daley and to this union three children were born, Pat Tucker, Mick Tucker and Trisha. He later married LaVon and was a wonderful "Pa" to her three girls and "Papa" to their four children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaVon; and his son, Pat.

He is survived by his son, Mick Tucker, and his children, Tanner and Tess of eastern Montana; a daughter, Trish Tucker and son, Jake; sons of the late Pat Tucker, Coby and Tyler of the Flathead Valley; three step-daughters, Verna Crawford and husband, Brian, and their children Charla and Brandon of San Bernadino, Calif.; Sherryl Main and husband, Ted, and their daughter, Sarah; and Dot Broad of the Flathead Valley and her daughter, Chantel of Portland, Ore.

As per his wishes, Donald was cremated and private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
