Columbia Falls police had a fight on their hands when they tried to talk with a 36-year-old woman Monday evening outside Kelly's Casino. She was angry that another customer called police after failing to convince the woman's husband that he should not drive. She was ticketed with resisting arrest, and obstructing and assault on a police officer.
A man reported Monday that his dog was attacked by three other dogs while they were out for a stroll.
Police stopped a man at U.S. 2 and Grove Street and charged him with DUI No. 3 and being a habitual offender.
Repeated requests to turn down the loud music at a home on Sixth Street West went unheeded, so police told the offender that he would be arrested next time.
