Kalispell police

Kalispell police were called after the Best Bet Casino discovered someone had entered the office through an unlocked window and had taken $1,000 in cash from a desktop. They tracked down the suspect to his home on Ruddy Duck Drive and arrested him for felony burglary.

A caller said they saw a flash and felt the concussion of a small explosion near their home on Fifth Avenue East. A neighbor said maybe something was tossed in a fire. Apparently, somebody fired a gun out a window.

Police arrested a 49-year-old for DUI.

A local business reported an employee stole a tire and sold it outside the premises.

Police took a bicycle into safekeeping after its rider fell near the Red Lion hotel and was taken for medical help.
