Deputies break up fisticuffs

Flathead County sheriff's deputies broke up a fight between two women on Cheery Lynn Road. A 52-year-old woman allegedly beat up a 31-year-old woman for having an affair with her husband.

A camping transient was being nasty to neighborhood youths on Stoner Creek Road in Lakeside.

A vehicle was broken into at a Stillwater River boat launch.

A woman complained that her boyfriend was pushing her around at an office supply store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. Deputies filed a report but didn't make an arrest.

A man on Nicholson Drive in Evergreen was sitting in his yard playing cards when he got shot in the shoulder by a pellet gun. The pellet was dug out, but the shooter never was found.

A suspicious vehicle was reported near Lone Pine Road and Terrace Road.

People loading a big screen TV into a pickup on Central Avenue in Martin City aroused the suspicions of a concerned neighbor, who called deputies thinking it was a theft. It wasn't.

A person who was riding a bike was chased by a dog on Poplar Place.

Someone reported seeing a man slap a woman and get into a car on Steel Bridge Road. When deputies came to ask them some questions, the woman was more aggressive than the man.

A woman called deputies on her cell phone from behind a locked bathroom door. Deputies counseled her and the man who scared her into the bathroom. She left for the night.

A vehicle, possibly a Ford truck, crashed into a house on Blanchard Lake Road. There were no injuries. The truck has not been found.
