Bradley S. 'Brad' Stone, 48

Bradley S. "Brad" Stone, 48, passed away Wednesday Aug. 8, 2007, in Marion. Brad was born Nov. 22, 1958, in Burns, Ore., to Boyd and Mary (Lawrence) Stone. He was raised in Portland, where he graduated from Madison High School class of 1977.

Brad married Denise Hossack on May 16, 1981, in Carver, Ore.

He was a man with an entrepreneur spirit, who ran several small businesses over the years. Brad prided himself in being self-employed and working hard to provide for his family.

He had an adventurous spirit, loved life and would try just about anything once. He was passionate about cars, including restoration and rebuilding them. He loved hunting, and especially spending time with his sons.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Stone; and sister, Debbie Stone-Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Stone; mother, Mary Baxter; two sons, Alex and Jeffery Stone; siblings, Greg and Deb Stone, David and Renee Stone, and Steve Stone; other relatives include nieces, Kristina and Tracy Stone, Amanda Smith; nephews, Kevin and Adam Stone.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Kalispell. Interment will be after the service at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
