Ferol J. Read, 82

Ferol J. Read, 82, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Springdale Village in Mesa, Ariz. She was born on June 6, 1925, in Livingston, the daughter of Leonard and Ruby (Terri) Lull. Ferol and her parents moved to Creston, to a small farm.

She attended and graduated from Flathead County High School where she met Lawrence E. Bailey, and they were married June 25, 1947.

Ferol had two sons, Larry and Rodney Bailey.

Ferol's main interests were centered on her sons' horse activities; Larry with his show horses and Rodney with his packing and driving horses and mules.

After her husband Lawrence passed away in 1988, Ferol spent a lot of time at the Presbyterian Church where she met Julian 'JC' Read. They later married and spent the rest of their years in Mesa.

Ferol was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Larry Bailey and JC Read.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry Bailey of Providence, R.I., and Rodney of St. Ignatius; and two grandsons, Reese and Riley Bailey, also of St. Ignatius.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell. There will be no visitation.
