Flathead County Sheriff's deputies went to Teakettle Mountain to investigate a UFO sighting. A man called claiming he could see one hovering in the area. Nothing was found.

A woman on Mountain Park Road couldn't get a skunk to leave her house. When she opened the front door for it leave, the varmint just walked farther inside. Last report: The skunk has left the building.

An argument near Turtle Mountain off Montana 35 between father and son turned to fisticuffs. The 50-year-old father and 21-year-old son were both arrested for assault.

Deputies were unable to locate a sinking Jet Ski in Flathead Lake near Bigfork.

A 69-year-old man in a pickup truck with Michigan plates who was supposed to be on his way to Glacier National Park hasn't been heard from.

A motorcycle was reported stolen from Pioneer Road.

Deputies were called about a restraining order violation, but the paperwork hadn't yet reached the man supposed to be staying away. Officers told him to stay away anyway.

A television was stolen from a church on U.S. 2.

Deputies believe a boat that caught on fire on Whitetail Crossing is a case of arson. Officers found two kids in the area, who were released to their parents. The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to the fire.

A bear was sighted on Angel Point Road in Lakeside.

A vehicle's back wheels got stuck in the water near the Old Steel Bridge until a wrecker pulled it out.

A pickup truck was stolen from Halfmoon Road. The keys had been left inside.
