Kalispell police were contacted after a 7-year-old boy found a bag of drugs at the fairgrounds and turned it in to authorities.

A 32-year-old man was charged with felony aggravated assault after he hit another man over the head with a beer bottle at a bar on Meridian Road. The victim was taken to the hospital. Police aren't yet sure why the assault took place.

A kid on Kelly Road was skateboarding in the middle of traffic.

Two small boys were left unattended in the parking lot of a store on U.S 93.

Graffiti was found on a garage and a Dumpster on Eighth Avenue West.

A woman reported that her sister was assaulted on the corner of Eighth Avenue West and Seventh Street West.

Passersby helped a man laying in the middle of the road. He told them to leave him alone.

A man knocked on every door at a motel on Seventh Avenue East North. He must not have found what he was looking for because he was still in the parking lot when police arrived.

A 15-year-old girl was reported as a runaway after leaving her mother at Main and Center streets.

A car was broken into on U.S. 93 North. A radar detector was stolen.

A recently planted tree at Peterson School was ripped out of the ground and placed on the playground equipment.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for stealing a soda from a deli on North Meridian Road.

Officers confiscated two skateboards after their owners violated city skating ordinances.
